THE SILVER SHORT LINE --
VIRGINIA & TRUCKEE RAILROAD --
is being rebuilt by the Northern Nevada Railway Foundation. (NNRF)

The Carson City Foundation is currently in the process of raising funds to rebuild this historic railroad from Virginia City to Carson City. It will run on the old right-of-way that was abandoned in the 1950's.

The NNRF's Annual Membership Program is only $15.00 per individual or $25.00 per family. The membership includes a newsletter in which Founding Members, who contribute $1000 or more, will receive special considerations.

The fund raising is underway with the goal being $22 million.

The donations are tax deductible as the Foundation is a 501C (3) exempt corporation.
